Biography
My name is Anna Demarchi, and I am originally from Italy. Italian is my native language, and I am also fluent in French, Spanish, and English. I hold a B.A. in French and Spanish, an M.A. in French Literature, and Single Subject Teaching Credentials in French, Italian, and Spanish.
My passion for languages has guided every step of my academic, personal, and professional journey. I truly believe that learning a new language opens the door to understanding the world more deeply, connecting with people across cultures, and becoming a more thoughtful global citizen.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an Export Manager for an Italian company for six years, and then spent seven years at Apple in Ireland. These experiences taught me a lot about communication and working with people from many different countries.
I moved to California in 2008, and that is when I discovered my passion for teaching languages. I enjoy creating a friendly and supportive classroom where students can participate, learn, and explore new cultures. I am excited to share my love for Italian and other Latin cultures with you.
