Course Description
This course provides an introduction to health inequities and the role of social injustice as a cause of the uneven distribution of health and disease in the United States. We also examine the social determinants of health, as well as other factors that shape the experience of access to resources and medical care. Strategies to advocate for health and social justice are explored.
