Course Description
This survey course provides a biological foundation on environmental issues such as the climate crisis, overfishing, endangered species, human population growth, habitat destruction, energy usage, air and water pollution, resource usage as well as over-consumption. The course emphasizes the effects of these events on the earth's biodiversity and its natural biological processes in an effort to build an understanding of creating sustainable solutions solving these problems.
